The course clinical trials in medicine provides an understanding of the regulatory and quality principles that govern clinical trials for drugs and medical devices. The course also provides an understanding of different types of study design, study protocol structure and content as well as the requirements for planning, conducting and completing a clinical trial. Required occasions occur in the course.
